Welcome. These terms set out the simple ground rules for reading our mythology and folklore stories blog, engaging with our community, and using our site. By visiting, you agree to what's written here.
When you join our discussions and share your own folklore research, we'll do our best to foster thoughtful conversation. If your plans to contribute change, please let us know early so we can adjust. We may remove posts that don't align with our commitment to respectful exploration of myths and legends.
Our mythology blog posts and legendary stories are presented in good faith, drawing from ancient art, old books, and scholarly research. We may update interpretations as new sources emerge and our understanding of ancient myths deepens. If a story we've promised isn't yet available, we'll suggest related traditional tales to explore instead.
For guest posts and custom folklore pieces, we ask for advance notice and may discuss rights and attribution. If you need to withdraw a contribution, contact us as soon as possible and we'll work flexibly within reason.
You're welcome to read, share, and discuss our mythology and folklore stories with others. Please don't republish our full articles, artwork, or photography for commercial purposes without asking us first — we're happy to discuss partnerships and permissions.
We take real care over every mythology blog post, every ancient statue photograph, every gods and heroes narrative, and every detail on this site. We can't promise the website will always be free of errors or interruptions, but we'll work hard to keep our folklore archive accurate and accessible. If something looks wrong, tell us and we'll put it right.
Curious about a particular myth or folklore tradition? Our mythology and folklore stories archive spans Greek mythology, Norse mythology, Celtic mythology, and world mythology from every continent. Explore our detailed guides, legendary stories, and traditional tales—or reach out through our contact page if you have questions about ancient myths, mythical creatures, gods and heroes, or any folk tales featured in our mythology blog.
